On April 23, 2009 the Georgia-Pacific EMEA Away-From-Home (AFH) team became the proud owner of a Deli XL award in the category for ‘Innovation’. Deli XL, the well-known foodservice wholesaler and part of the Bidvest group, this year launched its Supplier Award program. “We like to work with suppliers who share our vision. These awards are attributed to companies that have particularly contributed to the health and well-being of our customers and society as a whole,” says Dick Slootweg, CEO of Deli XL.
The Deli XL Award program has five categories and this year’s award for ‘Innovation’ was given to GP’s Lotus Professional brand. “Georgia-Pacific has won this award because we have been particularly impressed with the high quality and efficiency of Lotus Professional. The innovative systems have clearly provided added-value to our customers,” says Jan Kroes, Non-Food Category Manager DeliXL. “These include for example enMotion, JustOne and SmartOne, which I would describe as practical, nicely-designed and sometimes even quite bold and daring in their look,” he continues.
Lotus Professional, Georgia-Pacific’s European brand provides an integrated range of disposable paper products and hygienic dispensing systems specially designed to offer practical solutions for the Washroom, Workplace and Foodservice environments.
